Sowder Electric Company, Inc. is a merit shop electrical contractor that has been in business in Jasper, TN., since 1992. The corporation is a diversified company that specializes in an array of different types of electrical projects. Sowder Electric Company, Inc. has completed projects in many areas of the electrical industry. These areas include: schools, nursing homes, industrial plants, churches, residential structures, fast food establishments, office buildings, warehouses, governmental works, fine restaurants, shopping centers, Stone quarry’s and more. We also are a factory trained, Dealer authorized for sales and service of Generac Generators.

Sowder Electric has acquired its work in many different ways through the years. Many jobs have been acquired through both public and private bids. Some jobs have been obtained through negotiated contracts with direct customer relationships, contractors, and private owners. Other projects have been acquired through the design and build means. We believe this shows our flexibility in being able to service the customer in the best possible manner. Our approach to business is to serve each customer in the manner best suited to his or her needs.

Sowder Electric Company, Inc. has a very sound financial base with which to work. We have many service trucks and a 54 foot bucket truck, which enables us to handle jobs of various sizes from service work to large construction projects. Our facility is located at 200 Industrial Blvd, Jasper, TN. This facility is our own. We have also recently expanded by placing an office in Fayetteville, TN which will enable us to cover not only Fayetteville, but also Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Columbia, Lewisburg, Huntsville, AL and Athens, AL.
